A Safe Space to Talk and Be Heard
Hello and welcome to my site.
I'm Rhys, and I'm a fully qualified Humanistic therapist. I offer counselling that is compassionate, respectful, and non-judgemental. Together, we’ll work at a pace that suits you, helping you understand and process difficult emotions, gain new perspectives on challenges, develop healthier coping strategies, improve self-confidence and resilience and work towards creating positive change in your life.

Why People in Sussex Come to Counselling
Every person’s story is different, but many people seek help for:
Anxiety, stress, and overthinking
Low mood or depression
Relationship problems and conflict
Coping with loss or bereavement
Navigating life changes or identity questions
Feeling stuck or disconnected from life
Whatever brings you here, this can be a space to share and explore what you're going though.

My Approach
I work with adults who in some way, find themselves stuck. That may be due to a current life circumstance, but it could also be though repeating behaviours or thoughts that are damaging, don't seem to make any sense or are no long useful. Sometimes just having the space to express what you're going through with someone who is on your side, and whose only agenda is your well being, can be enough bring about a shift. I see my role as that of a companion, standing shoulder to shoulder with you whilst we look at the aspects of your life that are causing you concern or distress.
Face-to-Face and Online Counselling Across Sussex
I work with adults from Burgess Hill, Haywards Heath, Hassocks, Ditchling, Wivelsfield, Lindfield, Hurstpierpoint, Brighton and throughout Sussex. Sessions are available Monday to Thursday, with some early morning appointments to accommodate those with less flexible working hours. My office is located in Burgess Hill, has free parking and step free access. I can also offer online sessions.
Professional Standards
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within their ethical framework to ensure you receive safe, professional, and confidential support.
