About Me
I'm a Humanistic counsellor, dedicated to treating each person as an unique individual, capable of growth, self-awareness and change. My approach focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences shape their experience of the world, whilst exploring their inner strengths and resources to create meaningful change and improvements in their lives.
I am a Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). As well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, I also have specific training in anxiety, depression and low mood, grief and bereavement, suicide, neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ issues.

In our sessions, I offer warmth, non-judgment, and compassion in a safe and confidential environment, where you decide the pace and depth of our discussions. I aim to come alongside you and understand things from your perspective, ensuring you feel heard and understood. Our time together is a collaborative process, offering you the opportunity to explore the actions or ways of thinking that may no longer serve you.
Reaching out for help can be daunting. The idea of opening up to a stranger might feel overwhelming. Yet, speaking with a counsellor can be incredibly beneficial. Together, we can build an understanding of why you feel the way you do, explore your reactions to particular situations, and identify choices that empower you to move forward.
